SLR is a second generation transport logistics specialist who has serviced the northern regions of Australia for 40 plus years collectively. Throughout this period, we have acquired a vast array of equipment and experienced personnel. We serve our customers requirements in Australia's most unique locations, conditions and climates.
We have expanded and continue to grow, providing specialised services for the rail industry.

SERVICES:
SLR Rail has a Quality Health, Safety and Environment management system , ensuring all work procedures are compliant with State and national Legislation and standards. Importantly SLR Rail is part of the ASSA Workplace Compliance System (Advanced Safety Systems Australia)and plant assessor for all equipment.
Equipment is maintained to high standards and regular safety inspections are carried out as part of the Road Train accreditation system.
Personnel are white card accredited and are experienced in the tasks they perform.
JSEA, SWMS and pre work briefs are standard with every job we perform.
SLR is the only service provider in SA North accredited by SA Health / SA Water for Potable water services.
Rail Services
SLR has been supplying specialised rail services since 2002. We have a fleet of rail specific equipment, with Rail safe certified personnel.
SLR specialises in complete project management for installation of rail infrastructure. SLR constructed the rail siding at Wirrida for use by Oz Minerals Ore trains. SLR also re railed the complete line for the passenger terminal in Alice Springs, along with constructing detraining pads. We have an extensive portfolio of successfully completed rail / earthmoving projects available on request.
Due to our reputation in the Rail industry in 2015 Great Souther Rail engaged our services to set up, install and project manage off train excursions areas for their guests in Manguri and Marla. This involved earthworks to install 900 metres of detraining pads and creation of entertaining areas for their guests to relax and experience the outback views with a bonfire experience.
We continue to manage and provide services for these events on a weekly basis.
